I simply CANNOT believe that one whole year has gone by since we welcomed this sweet, blond haired, blue eyed baby girl. It feels like yesterday that I was holding her tiny 7lb 1oz body in the hospital, woozy from a painful c-section that was all worth it, just to be able hold her soft peaches & cream skin to ours, hear her sweet coos and to whisper
"Happy Birthday Little Mama" for the first time ...
Fast forward about 11 months, through sibling adjustments, starting at a new sitter, learning to sit, eat, crawl, and not yet walk & you find me, frantically planning the first birthday party for the girl of my dreams. I literally always wanted a little girl, and so far it has been every bit of what I had hoped for.
I must say that I was a bit neurotic with the details and the planning. I believe I can quote my husband as saying, "Let's NEVER do this again!" And by "this" he means a big, extravagant party that totally consumes me and turns me in to a bit of a demanding and slightly crazy person. Anyway, once it all came together it was perfect. And a special thanks to my sweet sister for helping me, calming me and making paper puff decorations thingies until late into the night, the night before.
And Cari captured the special way she always does:

Your party planning really paid off. Oh how I wish I could have been there to celebrate. Molly is such a sweet girl.
