How very true. No matter how long is has been since we have seen each other (6 months to be exact) we pick up right where we left off like no time has gone by at all. We share stories, and laugh till we cry. We stay up way too late at night watching movies, talking and sipping sangria. We have sister dates and get pedicures, eat lunch and drink mimosas (because a mimosa is ok at noon, but a martini may be pushing it) and go see Sex and the City 2 (which was fabulous by the way). We lay in the sun and splash in the pool. We do all of the sister things that we can do in the short time we have together; then count the days till we can do it all again. I am so glad to have my sister, my forever friend. Now if only I could get her to come back sooner...
We had lots of fun on Memorial Day at Ren's mom's house as usual. It was a perfect sunny, warm day with lots of pooltime and boat rides. And Conor got to sit in the "kid" boat that Zayde bought for him and couldn't stop saying "butt, butt" which is his word for boat. Thanks to Dee and Jane Ann for taking pics as I didn't have my camera out all weekend... shame on me!
