Eating lunch at Panera Bread (yummy mac & cheese). Conor actually kept his hat on the whole time! It was COLD that weekend!
Conor and AJ
This weekend was a big milestone, we went to Stride Rite to get Conor's first pair of walking shoes! I know it sounds cheesy, but that is where my first pair of shoes came from and many more after that. I remember being so excited as a little girl to go into Stride Rite to pick out my new shoes! Well, Conor was NOT as excited as I used to be... he cried like he was at the dr. office just when they measured his little foot! haha! He is a size 4 and Bubbe bought him the CUTEST pair of little hiker shoes. He looks like such a big boy walking around with his new shoes on. It took a bit of getting used to, not quiet as easy as walking around in bare feet. Cousin Jilli also came and got her first pair of walking shoes. They are adorable white high tops with little embrodered flowers. She didn't mind getting her feet measured, but was NOT happy once the shoes were put on her feet and double knotted. Overall it was a bit traumatizing for the babies, but definitely a memory we will never forget!
I just had to, you know why.... b/c I am obsessed

Nicole!! I am in awe, shock.. the picture of him standing up resting his little hand on his rocker.. oh my goodness, such a big boy! It seems like just yesterday I was coming over after work and we were giggling while giving him bathtime in the SINK, in the little blue sink basket.. he is growing up, and I am so proud of the little munch. P.s LOVE the fact that he got little hiker boot type shoes for his first pair, totally suits his little go go gadget personality! I can't wait to see him again!! xoxo
Love me some stride rite...Lia's wearing Ava's old stride rite crawling shoes still. I guess we should try to make the move to walking shoes - maybe that'll give her the motivation to actually start walking. :)
So, is he starting to not want to be held as much now that he can walk?
