Lil Heartbreaker

It is a beautiful morning here, bright and sunny and only 85 degrees (just wait till the end of the day!) I just had to snap a few pictures in this little outfit from Conor's Aunt Jenna. He started his first couple of days at the new nanny's house and things are going great so far. He was happy and smiling when I picked him up yesterday from Miss Sheila's house, which makes my heart happy. I love our big boy so much!

First Fathers Day

The day started off with presents for daddy. Some cologne that he wanted and a special hand painted sushi plate with Conor's little footprint in the tie. We had so much fun at Picasso's Cup painting the plate. Then off to Bubbe's house for some R & R. Conor tried the pool again since the water is now much warmer and he liked it for a little bit. He loved it when I spun him around and around in his crab floaty!

Upsy Daisy

It has been a week of new developments! First of all, I have been offered and new job with Highland Corporation. It is here in town. I am nervous and excited at the same time. I will miss my monkey every day!

Also, Conor is now "sitting" on his own. He is still pretty wobbly so I am not far away ready to catch him if he tumbles or tips to the side. It is so cute to see him watch the world from a whole new perspective!

I just couldn't resist. He just looks so darn cute in his birthday suit getting ready for bathtime. Pretty soon he will be ready for baths in the big tub. Can I just stop time now please!

Girls Weekend Plus!

Ava was such a good little helper with the babies!

What a ladies man! Samantha (1 yr), Ava (3 yrs), Conor (6 mos.), Lia (6 mos.)

Conor taking a bath... thanks Lia for sharing your tub!
Used to be us girls getting together for "girls weekend", just the four of us to go to the beach, sip drinks, go out dancing and reminisce about old times. We still reminisce about old times, but the rest of the scene has definitely changed. We change diapers, play with toys, push strollers and exchange recipes. Our lives have all changed and I love that we are all in the same spot. It is so great to have friends like these, and I know we will be friends for a long time to come!

Thanks to Sarah for being such an amazing hostess, right down to the homemade meals, corn salsa and kettle corn from the farmers market. Not to mention letting us take over her home like a tornado!

Gone Bananas!

So happy to be sitting up like a big boy in his high chair (thanks to Linds, Karm & Sarah for the beautiful high chair) and trying bananas for the first time. He LOVED them. He was literally head diving for the spoon! Bananas are his 3rd solid food. He had rice cereal for the first time on his 5 month birthday (5/17/09) which he was very amused by until he dumped the bowl all over. Then came sweet potatoes, which were a bigger hit than the rice cereal. Now his new fav is banans. I can't believe he is already eating solid foods. I think I thought he would just have breast milk forever, hah!

About Me

My photo
I am a mom to two wonderful kids, Conor & Molly, married to my wonderful husband, Ren, & full time worker as a graphic artist. My plate is certainly full but I wouldn't change a thing. So thankful for the many blessings in my life.
