"Meatball!"

Sitting up like a big boy (with a little help from mommy!)

Conor has officially found his feet. He loves to curl up into what I lovingly refer to as the "meatball". He grabs ahold of his feet (one foot in each hand) and attempts to put his toes in his mouth! Haha... I love it. So at his five month pictures today I was hoping to capture this and we did, yay! It did take 2 trips to Sears Portrait Studio (he wasn't having it at 10am so we had to go back at 1!)... but we got some sweet photos for all the work! He is also constantly rolling over now, and teething like crazy. I am waiting for a pearly white to break through any day now.

Happy 5 Month Birthday

I can't believe our little guy is already five months old today! Not so little anymore! Weighing in at 16 lbs, he is really looking more and more like a little boy and not a newborn baby! Our pediatrition said it was ok to start solids between 5 and 6 months, so we tried our first bit of rice cereal today on his five month birthday. It was so fun... the little face he made when he tasted it for the first time (granted it was mostly breastmilk, but still) and you could just see him trying to comprehend WHY in the WORLD he was eating from this weird plastic thing called a spoon! After the first few bites he started getting excited and banging on his bumbo try as if to say "more please!"... then mommy got a little too close with the bowl of cereal and a flailing little arm splattered rice cereal all over little Conor and his bumbo. He expressions are just priceless. After we finished up we headed for a bath (which was a bit confusing for him being in the middle of the day)... then I just had to take a few photos of the big boy! Every minute is so precious and exciting!

Scooter

I am video crazy lately! All the new things our little man is doing just has to be captured. Here are a few recent developments... Daddy making rasberries on Conor's tummy makes him crack up and then we crack up because his little laugh is so sweet and adorable. He is also starting to get his legs up underneath him and doing the army crawl. Our little baby is growing up so fast.

Happy First Mother's Day!

What a wonderful first Mothers Day! Nadine brought us breakfast (eggs benedict, my favorite!), then we went to Bubbe's house for some fun in the sun. Conor got to try out his new bathing suit and crab floaty... which unfortunately was not a big hit! We will have to get him used to being in the pool I think. At least I got some time in the sun while the babies napped and daddy watched golf.

Cinco De Mayo

Aunt Nadine came over for a quick photoshoot with the little sombrero she found for Conor... I thought he would hate it, as he usually does not take to kindly to any hat I put on his head. But, he didn't seem to mind it... maybe because it was so small.
